About Steam Facial
A steam facial is the classic deep cleanse. Warm steam softens the surface of the skin and opens the pores, which loosens the oil and debris sitting in them so it can actually be lifted out rather than pushed around.
It is the least involved facial on the menu and the cheapest, which makes it a sensible first facial if you have never had one, or a regular maintenance treatment between the more advanced skin work.
What happens at your appointment
- Your skin is cleansed and any makeup removed.
- Warm steam is directed at the face to soften the skin and open the pores.
- The skin is cleansed again while the pores are open.
- A finishing product is applied to suit your skin.

- We block out 40 minutes for your appointment
- Cancel with more than 48 hours notice and your deposit carries over to your next booking

Worth knowing
If you want more than a cleanse, dermaplaning or microdermabrasion add exfoliation, and a skin peel or micro-needling go further again.

Before your appointment
- Arrive with clean skin where possible.
- Avoid alcohol for 24 hours before injectable treatments.
- Avoid taking aspirin or ibuprofen for 24–48 hours beforehand unless prescribed by your GP.
- Stay well hydrated.
- Let us know about any medical conditions, medications or recent procedures.
- Please arrive on time, as late arrivals may need to be rescheduled.

Daisy will talk you through aftercare for this treatment before you leave, and you are welcome to ask beforehand if you would like to know what is involved first.
Who is not suitable for treatment
Some treatments may not be suitable if you:
- Are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- Have an active skin infection, cold sore or open wound in the treatment area.
- Have certain medical conditions.
- Are taking medication that may affect healing or increase bleeding.
- Have recently had surgery in the treatment area.
- Have severe allergies to treatment ingredients.
For injectable treatments, such as anti-wrinkle injections and fat dissolving, a full medical consultation will always be carried out before treatment. If you are unsure whether you are suitable, please get in touch before booking.

The steam facial is a cleanse. If you want exfoliation as well, dermaplaning or microdermabrasion are £20 to £30. For texture, scarring or firmness, micro-needling and radio frequency go deeper. Ask if you are not sure and Daisy will tell you honestly.
