The treatment
About Lash Lift & Tint
A lash lift sets your natural lashes into an upward curl from the root, so they open the eye rather than pointing forwards. A tint goes on at the same time, darkening them right to the tips. Together they do what mascara and curlers do, except it holds for around two months and survives swimming, the gym and sleeping on your face.
It is not extensions. Nothing is glued on, there is no weight on the lash, and there are no infill appointments to keep up with. When it grows out, it simply grows out.
Daisy is a CPD Approved Provider and trains other therapists in lash lift and tint, so this is a treatment she teaches as well as performs.
What happens at your appointment
- Your lower lashes are shielded and your eyes stay closed throughout.
- Your upper lashes are combed up onto a silicone shield sized to your eye and lash length.
- A lifting solution sets the curl, then a second solution fixes it in place.
- The tint is applied and left to develop, then everything is removed and combed through.
- You open your eyes and see the result straight away.

- We block out 1 hour for your appointment
- Cancel with more than 48 hours notice and your deposit carries over to your next booking
- Cash and bank transfer accepted for the balance on the day
Worth knowing
A lash lift can be done while your teeth are being whitened. You are lying back with your eyes closed either way, so the two run together inside one 60 minute appointment rather than back to back.

Before your appointment
- Arrive with clean skin where possible.
- Avoid alcohol for 24 hours before injectable treatments.
- Avoid taking aspirin or ibuprofen for 24–48 hours beforehand unless prescribed by your GP.
- Stay well hydrated.
- Let us know about any medical conditions, medications or recent procedures.
- Please arrive on time, as late arrivals may need to be rescheduled.
Patch tests are not carried out. If you have ever reacted to a tint, a wax or a skincare product, please tell us before booking.
Aftercare
For the first 24 hours:
- Keep lashes completely dry.
- Avoid steam, saunas and swimming.
- Do not rub your eyes.
- Avoid mascara and oil-based products.
Who is not suitable for treatment
Some treatments may not be suitable if you:
- Are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- Have an active skin infection, cold sore or open wound in the treatment area.
- Have certain medical conditions.
- Are taking medication that may affect healing or increase bleeding.
- Have recently had surgery in the treatment area.
- Have severe allergies to treatment ingredients.
For injectable treatments, such as anti-wrinkle injections and fat dissolving, a full medical consultation will always be carried out before treatment. If you are unsure whether you are suitable, please get in touch before booking.

How long does a lash lift last?
Around eight weeks, which is roughly a full growth cycle of the lash. We send a reminder when you are due rather than leave you to keep track.
How much is a lash lift and tint on the Wirral?
£30 at Laser Whites in Eastham, with the lift and the tint both included in that price.
Is a lash lift better than extensions?
It depends what you want. A lift works with the lashes you already have, so there is no weight, no glue and no infill appointments. Extensions add length that a lift cannot. Over a year, a lift costs considerably less to keep up.
How long does the appointment take?
Forty five minutes in the chair, and we block out an hour so nothing is rushed.
Can I have a lash lift with teeth whitening?
Yes, and it does not add to your appointment length. Daisy does the lash work while the whitening lamp is running.
Does a lash lift damage your lashes?
A lash lift reshapes the lash rather than adding anything to it, on the same principle as a perm. Daisy is accredited to teach this treatment to other therapists, which is a fair measure of how carefully it is done here.
