About Intimate Waxing
Intimate waxing removes hair from the root across the bikini area, with three levels depending on how much you want taken. A bikini wax tidies the edges so nothing shows outside underwear or a swimming costume. A French wax leaves a narrow strip at the front. A Hollywood removes everything.
It is the treatment people are most nervous about booking, and the thing worth knowing is that Laser Whites is a single-therapist salon in a private treatment room. There is no reception, no waiting area and nobody else about. Daisy does this several times a week.
Regrowth takes around five weeks, and repeated waxing tends to make it finer over time.
What happens at your appointment
- You are shown into the private treatment room and left to get ready.
- You agree exactly how much is coming off before anything starts.
- Wax is applied and removed in small sections, working steadily.
- Strays are tidied and the skin is soothed.

- We block out 55 minutes to 1 hour 10 for your appointment
- Cancel with more than 48 hours notice and your deposit carries over to your next booking
- Cash and bank transfer accepted for the balance on the day
Worth knowing
Most clients book intimate waxing alongside a half or full leg wax. Select both when booking and the length is worked out for you.

Before your appointment
- Arrive with clean skin where possible.
- Avoid alcohol for 24 hours before injectable treatments.
- Avoid taking aspirin or ibuprofen for 24–48 hours beforehand unless prescribed by your GP.
- Stay well hydrated.
- Let us know about any medical conditions, medications or recent procedures.
- Please arrive on time, as late arrivals may need to be rescheduled.
Patch tests are not carried out. If you have ever reacted to a tint, a wax or a skincare product, please tell us before booking.
Aftercare
Daisy will talk you through aftercare for this treatment before you leave, and you are welcome to ask beforehand if you would like to know what is involved first.
Who is not suitable for treatment
Some treatments may not be suitable if you:
- Are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- Have an active skin infection, cold sore or open wound in the treatment area.
- Have certain medical conditions.
- Are taking medication that may affect healing or increase bleeding.
- Have recently had surgery in the treatment area.
- Have severe allergies to treatment ingredients.
