The treatment
About HIFU Vaginal Rejuvenation
HIFU stands for high intensity focused ultrasound. Energy is focused at a set depth beneath the surface, heating the tissue there enough to prompt collagen contraction and new collagen production, while the surface itself is left untouched. It is the same principle as the radio frequency facial, applied to a different part of the body.
It is used for laxity and tone, commonly after childbirth or through the menopause. It is non-surgical, requires no anaesthetic and has no recovery period.
This is understandably a treatment people hesitate to book. Laser Whites is a single-therapist salon in a private treatment room with no reception and no waiting area, and Daisy is the only person you will see.

- A consultation covers your medical history and what you want to change.
- You are shown into the private treatment room and left to get ready.

Aftercare
Following your treatment:

- Maintain good intimate hygiene.
- Avoid sexual intercourse for 48 hours after treatment.
- Avoid hot baths, saunas, steam rooms and hot tubs for 48 hours.
- Avoid strenuous exercise for 24–48 hours.
- Mild sensitivity or a slight increase in vaginal discharge can be normal for a short time after treatment.
- Results continue to improve over the following 8–12 weeks as your body naturally produces new collagen.
For best results, a course of treatments may be recommended depending on your individual concerns and desired outcome. This will be discussed during your consultation, where a personalised treatment plan will be created just for you.
