Hydro-Dermabrasion in Eastham, Wirral
Exfoliation and hydration at the same time, using water rather than abrasion. An hour, and skin that glows straight away.
The treatment
About Hydro-Dermabrasion
Hydro-dermabrasion uses a pressurised water jet to lift away dead skin while simultaneously flooding the surface with hydration. It is the gentler relative of microdermabrasion: the same resurfacing effect, but wet rather than dry, which is far kinder to skin that reacts badly to abrasion.
Because it hydrates as it exfoliates, the immediate result is plumper and dewier than a dry resurfacing treatment. It is the one to choose if your skin is dry, dehydrated or on the sensitive side.
At a full hour it is the longest facial on the menu apart from the glass facial and the bespoke option.
What happens at your appointment
- Your skin is cleansed and assessed.
- The handpiece passes over the face delivering the water jet, exfoliating and hydrating in one motion.
- Loosened debris is drawn away as she works.
- Hydrating products are applied to finish.
