About Anti-Wrinkle Injections
Anti-wrinkle injections relax the small muscles that crease the skin every time you frown, raise your eyebrows or smile. With those muscles quietened, the skin above them stops folding along the same lines, and the existing lines soften as they are no longer being reinforced dozens of times a day.
The three areas usually treated are the forehead, the frown lines between the brows, and the crow's feet at the outer corners of the eyes. You can have one, two or three treated, and the price steps with the number rather than being charged per area separately.
It works best on lines caused by movement. Lines that sit there when your face is completely still are a different problem and need a different answer, which Daisy will tell you honestly rather than sell you the wrong treatment.
What happens at your appointment
- A consultation covers your medical history, what you want to change, and what is realistic.
- You are asked to make several expressions so the muscles being treated can be mapped on your face.
- The injections are given. It is a small number of injections with a very fine needle and takes a few minutes.
- You are given aftercare instructions before you leave.
- Results appear gradually over the following days rather than immediately.

- We block out 20 minutes for your appointment
- Cancel with more than 48 hours notice and your deposit carries over to your next booking
- Cash and bank transfer accepted for the balance on the day
Worth knowing
This is a prescription treatment and is handled differently from the rest of the menu. A consultation comes first, and Daisy will tell you plainly if she does not think it is the right treatment for what is bothering you.

Before your appointment
- Arrive with clean skin where possible.
- Avoid alcohol for 24 hours before injectable treatments.
- Avoid taking aspirin or ibuprofen for 24–48 hours beforehand unless prescribed by your GP.
- Stay well hydrated.
- Let us know about any medical conditions, medications or recent procedures.
- Please arrive on time, as late arrivals may need to be rescheduled.
Aftercare
For the first 24 hours:
- Stay upright for at least 4 hours.
- Avoid strenuous exercise.
- Do not rub or massage the treated area.
- Avoid alcohol on the day of treatment.
- Avoid facials and excessive heat for 24 hours.
Consultation
A consultation is required before treatment. This includes a medical assessment and prescription with our prescribing practitioner, as anti-wrinkle injections are a prescription-only medicine in the UK.
Who is not suitable for treatment
Some treatments may not be suitable if you:
- Are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- Have an active skin infection, cold sore or open wound in the treatment area.
- Have certain medical conditions.
- Are taking medication that may affect healing or increase bleeding.
- Have recently had surgery in the treatment area.
- Have severe allergies to treatment ingredients.
